camp daisy hindman bath house

The Bathhouse is a 2,500 square foot stained cedar structure, which provides the Girl Scouts with a well-ventilated, well-lit place to scrub up and make themselves presentable after a long day of activities. Located adjacent to their new splash park, it also accommodates a changing and shower room function throughout the day. We love the idea of a splash park for an organization like the Girl Scouts—lots of fun and a lot less resource usage and maintenance than a full-blown swimming pool. This project was selected for the 2013 Kremer Prize for best collaborative student project.
